In your hands now, you have the exact same message first delivered nineteen years ago to the Worldwide Church of God. These writings, which took over a year to be completed, were distributed to the Pastor General, evangelists, and Headquarters/ Ambassador College ministers and to some local “shepherds” throughout the United States and the world. After each letter/flyer (or “scroll”) was written, it was meant to be the last one.
However, when no champion came forth from the WCG to defend its corporate position by using the Word of God, another was written until finally there were seven. Collectively, these were then entitled The Letter to Laodicea and this information was freely offered to church members.
All throughout this work, insurrection was never an option; but, in the true Christian tradition, neither was silence. Yet, nothing was done clandestinely. There was no recruiting of friends in secret in order to gain a personal following first. There was no underhanded maneuvering to garner support among the lower ranks in order to mount a coup. What was done followed established biblical guidelines. Upholding strict ethical standards meant that this message had to be proclaimed in solitude without any social safety net.
Even though truth can at times be easy to come by, handling the truth in the biblically correct manner is like crossing through a minefield. Thus, this hazardous work crept along slowly, being careful to stay grounded in God’s way.
Furthermore, the truth presented here was never used as the basis for income. Business does so corrupt the Bible; but what you have been given is 100% pure truth, unadulterated by any financial considerations. That is right! This work has not been tainted in any way because no tithe money has ever supported its standard-bearer.
How amazing is it, though, that the WCG and all its many “babies” consider these warnings irrelevant and so presumptuously dismiss them. Yet, they have hung onto the Bible all the while, using it as their comfy security blanket. But, what is that book except a collection of warnings?
Being outdated in its addressing foreign peoples of forgotten lands has surely contributed to the Bible’s popularity. We have been spoiled because we are buffered by a mind-numbing time span of 2,000 to 6,000 years, which has served to protect us from personal attack. Therefore, when biblical warnings are reissued to today’s populace, these fall on suddenly deaf ears. For those hearing impaired it pays to remember that the final chapters of God’s Word have yet to be written. When they are, the timeframe will be NOW and the subject matter will be about US.
With this booklet, you can see for yourself that the truth of the Laodicean message is still viable. This seed need only be planted in fertile ground where, with proper care and nourishing, it will bear such abundant fruit that in due time the world will be astounded.
What is, and always will be, required is that rare element faith. This age, however, has seen former WCG members abandon all faith in THE ONE God, opting instead to worship any one of several hundred “gods”—so far!—that have been formed out of the pieces of that great fallen Church.
However, THE TRUE God is indivisible and He is intolerant. Also, He is ancient and alien.
Consequently, our modern, sophisticated, and independent way is light years apart from the Creator’s blueprint. Under our new world order, Christianity is just pompous, pathetic theater.
At this crossroads in history, then, it is time to wake up and learn—quickly!—how to please only Him. Failure to act will result in not being admitted into the FINAL PHASE of His work.
It will be, after all, His way or no way!
